•Introduction to pointed pen
•Historical examples
•Pressure and release: thin and thick strokes.
•Warm Ups: rhythm.
•Lowercase Basic Strokes: proportions, ascenders and descenders.
•Letters in groups and alternatives
•Word and text: rhythm, spacing, design
•Calligraphy demo

Recomended supply:
• Nibs: Hunt 22 or Gillott 404.
• Penholder: Regular penholder or oblique penholder. If you are left-handed, make sure you choose the right one depending on the hand you use to write!
• Ink: Bottle of black fountain pen ink, such as Parker Quink or Pelikan 4001 or your favorite black ink.
• Paper: Rhodia white paper pad A4+ or other suitable for calligraphy paper, in which the nib will not tear its surface, and the ink will absorb too much.
• Useful instruments: Dinky dip and ink pipette.

The workshop is organized together with +tova.
